Support ILA at Annual Conference

Help light the way forward for libraries in Illinois!

This year at ILA's Annual Conference in Peoria there are two easy ways to support the vital ILA initiatives that protect and promote intellectual freedom and library advocacy across our communities.

I heart Intellectual Freedom

Support the ILA IF Fund: Support the ILA Intellectual Freedom Fund and champion the right to read, learn, and explore without restrictions! By donating $15 or more, you contribute to vital initiatives that protect and promote intellectual freedom across our communities. As a thank you, you'll receive an exclusive "I heart Intellectual Freedom" ribbon for the 2024 annual conference badge. Join us in making a difference—your donation ensures that libraries remain vibrant spaces for open access to knowledge and ideas! Donate Today!

There will be a list of donors at the ILA Help Desk outside Exhibit Hall C. Stop by to pick up your exclusive ribbon!

Dine & Donate with ILA

Dine & Donate: Supporting Illinois libraries has never been so easy! During the ILA 2024 Annual Conference, dine at the award-winning Italian restaurant, Avanti’s and they will donate 15% of the proceeds to support ILA!

Here’s how to participate:

  • Plan to eat at any of the four Avanti’s locations (East Peoria, North Peoria, Pekin, Rockwood/Sterling) on either Tuesday, October 8 or Wednesday, October 9, for dine in, delivery, or carry out.

  • Bring the PRINTED FLYER (also available at the ILA Help Desk) and provide it to the restaurant during payment, so ILA can get a portion of the proceeds.

  • Snap a photo wearing your best ILA/Library/Literary swag! #ILAAC24 #avantispeoria

  • Enjoy a lovely Italian meal with friends and colleagues, at a family-owned, Peoria favorite.
