Endowment Fund

Established in 2000, the endowment is ILA's main vehicle for long-term financial stability and growth.

Interest from the endowment is used to support the overall goals of the association, with the principal retained in a reserve fund. Primary sources of endowment growth are direct contributions, the Illinois Library Luminaries program, and investment gains. Current assets are valued at approximately $200,000.

If you will be making a donation via check, be sure to make the check out to the "Illinois Library Association" or "ILA" and designate "endowment fund" in the memo line. Check donations can be mailed to the Illinois Library Association, 560 W. Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Chicago, IL 60661.
