About the Speakers

Jennifer Jazwinski is a Youth Services Librarian at the Algonquin Area Public Library District in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Jen spent three years as a Young Adult Librarian and two as an Assistant Department Manager before returning to the land of storytime. She is in her 8th year of volunteering for the Lincoln Award and currently co-chairs the Steering Committee. In her spare time, Jen enjoys trivia, running a silent reading club, and solving escape rooms with her family. Her very excellent co-workers helped her write this bio (although she cut the bit about the squirrels).

Marion Olea is the Head of Adult Services at the Northlake Public Library District. Prior to being the Head of AS, she was a Teen Librarian for many years and volunteered on ILA’s Young Adult Library Professional of the Year Award. Marion has been volunteering for the Lincoln Award since 2017 and is currently on the Publicity Committee. In her spare time, she likes exploring Chicago for the best pizza in the city, gaming, and attending trivia nights.

Amy Phillips is the Librarian at Riverside Brookfield High School in Riverside, IL. She is also the Girls and Boys Diving Coach and the Bulldog Book Club Sponsor. Amy has been a part of the Lincoln Award for the past 6 years as part of the Nominations Committee, Reading Panel, and currently as a member of the Steering Committee. She has also served as the AISLE Grants Function Rep and on the AISLE Executive Board as the Secretary from 2021-2023. In her very little free time, Amy can be found reading a romance (can't get enough of them!), playing board games, or goofing around with her corgi.
