The Kimberly-Little Chute Joint Public Library is seeking to fill the full-time position of Library Director. The Director is responsible for leading and managing facilities in Kimberly and Little Chute under the direction of the joint library board, which includes representatives from both villages. Qualifications include a Master’s degree from a library school program accredited by the American Library Association, as well as a Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certification or eligibility to obtain Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certification within 18 months.
The Kimberly-Little Chute Joint Library is a unique collaborative effort, created 22 years ago. It continues to service its patrons with distinction. With a budget of over $719,000 (not including buildings), 9.65 FTE’s, and annual circulation of over 280,000, it continues to provide its patrons with cutting edge technology and a proud tradition of innovation. There have been two Library Directors since its inception.
Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library serves the Villages of Kimberly and Little Chute. Our enthusiastic, hard-working staff seeks to provide the best service possible while having fun in the process. - Master's degree from a library school program accredited by the American Library Association.
- Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certification or eligibility to obtain Grade 1 Wisconsin Library Certification.
- Progressive managerial experience in a public library setting, or equivalent education/experience mix. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff. Demonstrable possession of knowledge, skills, abilities and capacities identified in the description above.
