Patrons Can Help Support Net Neutrality
December 7, 2017We've been hearing a great deal about how librarians can take action to support net neutrality, as the vote among FCC commissioners to eliminate it approaches on December 14. But our patrons can be allies in this effort as well. While the FCC's public comment period is closed, we are urged by ALA and other advocacy groups to keep the pressure on our elected officials to support net neutrality and in turn, put pressure on the FCC. ILA has collected some resources that help position this issue for a patron audience, as well as some visuals and graphics that can be shared via libraries' web pages or social media, or printed and posted.
