We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2017 Indiana University Libraries Information Literacy Colloquium is now open! The 2017 Indiana University Libraries Information Literacy Colloquium will take place on Thursday, August 3, at Indiana University Southeast (New Albany, Indiana), and will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Colloquium seeks to explore which pedagogical strategies and theoretical perspectives librarians might employ to engage students in complex conversations about the nature of credibility, truth, and authority. Attendees of this colloquium will have the opportunity to participate in 90 minute workshops designed to engage participants in raising questions, proposing solutions, and generating ideas around information literacy instruction in the current sociopolitical climate. Workshop descriptions and additional information about the event are available via the Colloquium website.

Registration is limited to 100 participants and will end on Friday, July 28. The $60 registration fee will include breakfast, lunch, and snack breaks.
