2018 ACRL President’s Program Invites Participation
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
April 27, 2017(via Gwen Gregory, IACRL Past President)
At ALA Annual 2018 in New Orleans, the ACRL President’s Program will explore the idea of resilience in (hopefully) all of its complexity. As a first step in our planning process, we want to hear your stories about resilience and how you have experienced it in your workplace. We are not looking for a specific type of story or any particular focus. Please share as much or as little as you like through our form. We would love to hear your stories as soon as possible! Our preferred date to receive them is by Monday, June 19, but the form will remain open for some time after ALA Annual 2017.
The planning committee will use the stories we gather to identify the scope and themes for the program. We will also share them with the speakers to help them as they prepare. To protect your anonymity, we will redact names and institutions from the stories before sharing them with speakers; and we will not share these stories in any form publicly.
Thank you again for sharing your time and experiences. If you have questions, additional comments to share, or ideas for good speakers, please contact Jeanne Davidson at jeanne.davidson@sdstate.edu.
