MLA Seeking Volunteers for Committees--Deadline July 15
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)

Medical Library Association President Teresa L. Knott will appoint a limited number of members to new juries, task forces, and work groups to begin work immediately. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the volunteer form by Friday, July 15.
Communities Goal Task Force
- availability: one member
- duration: two to three years
- specific competency: experience with MLA Sections and SIGs
- time commitment: monthly meetings with preparation work
Continuing Education Committee – Education Planning Workgroup
- availability: up to three members
- duration: two to three years
- specific competency: curriculum planning (education program design)
- time commitment: monthly meetings with preparation work
Awards and Grants Endowment Task Force
- availability: one member
- duration: 10 months
- specific competency: financial experience related to managing endowments as a non-profit treasurer or board member
- time commitment: regular meetings with preparation work
Rising Stars Jury
- availability: four members
- duration: 10 months
- specific competency: none
- time commitment: majority of work occurs in November-December 2016
