Get Inspired!
March 10, 2014A single action can inspire others, making the whole greater than the sum of the parts. That's what happened when Mary Jane Kepner made a
recent $2,500 donation to the Sylvia Murphy Williams Scholarship fund.
We told the story at the ILA Legislative Meet-Ups around the state in February and raised over $1,000 in matching donations. Just as Sylvia inspired many of us, her legacy now supports students attending library school in Illinois who have received ALA Spectrum scholarships.
Make your own matching donationtoday to support this diverse new group of future librarians that will in turn inspire the next generation. ILA is a small organization, but our capacity to act and inspire isn't limited by our size. Keep the legacy alive!
