ILA Marketing Forum Roundtable
ADA Web Accessibility Compliance - What's Your Library Doing?
Friday, September 19, 2025
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Unsure about the new ADA Title II Rule on Web Accessibility? Think you're prepared but aren't completely sure? Or have you started the process but got stuck? This event is for YOU! Join the ILA Marketing Forum for its next roundtable, "ADA Web Accessibility Compliance - What's Your Library Doing?," on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
For those unfamiliar, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires state and local governments to make sure that their services, programs, and activities are accessible to people with disabilities. Title II applies to all services, programs, or activities of state and local governments, from adoption services to zoning regulation. This includes the services, programs, and activities that state and local governments offer online and throughmobile apps.
During this one-hour discussion, attendees are encouraged to share what their library is doing or has done to comply with the new ADA Title II Rule on Accessibility of Web Content.
If your library is already compliant, we invite you to attend and share advice and strategies with your colleagues in the Illinois library community.
A recording of this roundtable will be available to ILA personal members 1-3 days after the event.
IMPORTANT: Attendees are not allowed to use AI notetakers, summarizers, etc., or record this event. You will be removed from the event if you use one of these services.
