A Tool in Your Toolbox: Demystifying the Illinois Library Standards
Thursday, November 20, 2025
1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Zoom
The Illinois Public Library Standards are truly just another tool in your management toolbox! Join us for this 90-minute program that will introduce you to the new Illinois Public Library Standards and “demystify” how they were developed and why they are important.
Ideas and examples for incorporating the Standards into your Board Meetings, staff conversations, strategic planning, and local advocacy will be shared. Suggestions will also be offered on how to show progress for the Public Library Per Capita and Equalization Grants, and there will be plenty of time for discussion.
So that the Committee can prepare, please email Chair Betsy Adamowski at betsy@wheatonlibrary.org in advance with any questions you would like to see answered during the webinar.
All ILA Noon Network webinars are free. Registration for all live webinars is limited to Illinois libraries. Recordings of webinars will be available to ILA personal and institutional members in the Noon Network Archive 1-3 days after the live event.
