Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
June 25, 2017(via Jennifer Nutefall, University Librarian at Santa Clara University)
What can service-learning professionals learn from @Google? How can you transform undergraduates by interweaving cultural competence and information literacy? What stage is your library at in developing a community engagement program? Come learn about these topics and more at the 2017 Colloquium on Libraries & Service Learning.
This year’s event, themed “Bridging Campus and Community: Libraries Transforming the Student Experience Through Service Learning”, will take place on Monday, August 7, and Tuesday, August 8. Join us on the beautiful campus of Santa Clara University for a day and a half of workshops, presentations, and stimulating discussions focusing on library engagement within academic service learning. Intended audience for the Colloquium includes librarians, faculty, service learning directors, students, and community partners.
To register, go here. The cost is $125. For more information and the full program, visit the colloquium website.
