Call for Applications: Sewell Fund Stipends for the 2017 AACP Annual Meeting (Deadline Monday, May 15)
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
April 27, 2017(via Charlotte Beyer, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science)
Stipends will be available for librarians who work directly with pharmacy educators and pharmacy students to attend the 2017 annual conference of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. This year’s conference will be July 15-19 in Nashville, Tennessee.
These stipends are funded by the Grace and Harold Sewell Memorial Fund for the purpose of increasing librarians’ identification with their respective pharmacy programs. The stipends are awarded on a competitive basis and the deadline for applications is Monday, May 15. While librarians who have attended previous AACP annual meetings are encouraged to apply for stipends, those attending the meeting for the first time will receive first priority. More information and applications are available from the AACP website. The applications will be at the bottom of the page.
The AACP Libraries and Information Section of thanks the Grace and Harold Sewell Memorial Fund for its generous support of academic pharmacy librarians.
Questions may be directed to Leslie Ann Bowman, at l.bowman@usciences.edu.
