Chicago Distance Library Services April Event: “Create Winning Conference Proposals”

Join the Chicago Distance Library Services Group for our spring  event on Friday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Elmhurst College’s  A.C. Buehler Library.

We’re hosting a panel discussion on creating conference proposals that get accepted, just in time for the April 23 deadline to submit proposals to the 2018 Distance Library Services Conference

Our panel includes:

  • Jacob Hill, Assistant Librarian, A.C. Buehler Library, Elmhurst College
  • Matt Ostercamp, Director, Brandel Library,  North Park University
  • Jennifer Schwartz, Reference, Instruction, an Academic Engagement Librarian, DePaul University
  • Susan Sword Steffens, Director, A.C. Buehler Library, Elmhurst College
  • The panelists have experience successfully  submitting library conference proposals and reviewing them so come learn from the experts.

Elmhurst College’s A.C. Buehler Library is located at 190 Prospect, Elmhurst IL 60216.

Free parking is available in the Alexander Lot, north of the Library.

The College is also a 5-minute walk from the Metra station, on the Union Pacific West Line.
