ALA Editions announces an exciting new workshop, Keys to Teaching the Six Threshold Concepts with Joanna M. Burkhardt. This workshop will last 90 minutes and take place at 1:30 PM CST on Thursday, August 4.

Overview
Are you looking to get fully acclimated with ACRL’s newly-adopted Framework for Information for Higher Education, learn what each of the threshold concepts are, and how to incorporate them into their information literacy instruction? In this workshop, experienced presenter and bestselling author in information literacy in the classroom Joanna M. Burkhardt will unpack the threshold concepts and translate them into practical application. She will give a brief overview of the six threshold concepts and provide participants with feedback on how they can create exercises that propel students toward and across those thresholds.
