Winners of NMRT's ALA Annual Conference Professional Development Award Announced

The NMRT Annual Conference Professional Development Attendance Award Committee congratulates Corinne Thompson, Siena Heights University, and Jane Wu, Otterbein University, on their winning essays. Thompson will receive a ticket to the NMRT preconference “What’s a Millennial to Do? Learning Thrive in a Multi-Generational Workplace” at the ALA Annual Conference 2016 in Orlando, FL. Wu will receive a ticket to the International Librarians Reception. In spirit of ALA’s New Members Round Table (NMRT), this award fosters active involvement in ALA through various special events at the Annual Conference. The award provides professional development and networking opportunities to NMRT members by providing a ticket to attend the event of their choice.
