2023 Reaching Forward Award Recipients Announced

The Reaching Forward Forum has named Annette DeLuna and Joshua Wirth as the recipients of its 2023 awards.

Annette DeLuna, Youth Services Associate at the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library District, is the recipient of the Illinois Library Association’s (ILA) 2023 Robert P. Doyle ILA Conference Grant for Support Staff. DeLuna will receive a one-year ILA membership and full registration and expenses to attend the 2023 ILA annual Conference, up to $800, and a framed certificate.  The award will be presented at the Reaching Forward Conference on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Joshua Wirth, Adult & Teen Services Library Assistant at the Downers Grove Public Library, is the recipient of the Illinois Library Association’s (ILA) 2023 Oberman and Rich Reaching Forward Conference Grant. Wirth will receive free registration to the 2023 Reaching Forward Conference, an overnight stay at the Reaching Forward conference hotel, $50 for expenses, and a framed certificate.  The award will be presented at the Reaching Forward Conference on Friday, May 5, 2023.
