2014 Library Legislative Meet-ups

Efforts go state-wide this year with four 

legislative events intended to give you an opportunity to meet with your legislators and speak with them firsthand about issues affecting you and your library.  Library trustees, directors, and staff from public, school, and academic libraries are encouraged to attend and participate.  Events are scheduled conveniently throughout the state.  Now is the time to make your voice heard.  Register today for one of the events below and speak to legislators in your area directly.

  • West Suburban Lunch in Oak Brook, Friday, 14 February 2014
  • North Suburban Breakfast in Buffalo Grove, Monday, 17 February 2014
  • Metro East Breakfast in Edwardsville, Friday, 21 February 2014

Featured speakers will be: ILA President Su Erickson, ILA Legislative Consultant Kip Kolkmeier, and ILA Executive Director Robert P. Doyle.
