World Language Collections

World Languages Networking Group invites librarians in charge of World Languages Collection to the meeting on Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 10:00 am until noon at Vernon Area Public Library (http://www.vapld.info). The topic of this meeting will be, Chinese Language Collection Development and Promotion.  Our meeting will be joined via Skype by Maria Fung from the New York Public Library, a native Chinese speaker with an expertise in collecting Chinese Material.  We encourage anyone who currently collects Chinese language materials to come to the meeting prepared to share information about their collections, popular authors and titles, vendor recommendations, etc.  Please RSVP gsheade@vapld.info.
