RAILS Small/For-Profit Academic Library Networking Group: Spring 2020
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
March 20, 2020by Emily Gilbert, Rasmussen College
The Small/For-Profit Academic Library Networking Group, founded in 2019 through RAILS, is celebrating a year of sharing ideas and best practices! In 2019 we met in person at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Northwestern College, and the Schaumburg Township District Library, and we have already met once virtually in 2020. All in-person meetings have a virtual component for those who have to stay at their desks. The needs and challenges of librarians in for-profit or small academic libraries can be very different to those of our colleagues in larger institutions, so if that sounds like you, please join us here: https://www.railslibraries.info/groups/158294
