IACRL and RAILS host Spark: Connect and Get Fired Up!

February 4, 2020IACRL and RAILS are excited to announce a new event for Spring 2020 – Spark: Connect and Get Fired Up! on Friday, May 15, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Milner Library, Illinois State University, Normal We hope this professional development opportunity will be the first of many to Spark our enthusiasm to share and connect with each other as academic librarians in Illinois. Librarians from all libraries in Illinois are welcome and encouraged to attend!
The committee is now seeking proposals that feature the theme Connect and Get Fired Up! Speakers will share their experience with participants in 15-minute lightning rounds. After a set of lightning rounds, speakers will lead round table discussions with participants to network and discuss each lightning-round topic. Participants will be able to share their own experiences and ideas with one another. Proposals are due Friday, March 6.
