Don’t miss dinner with colleagues on the evening of Tuesday, October 22, and the pub stroll on the evening of Wednesday, October 23.

From 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, enjoy a meal and conversation with other Illinois academic librarians at The Alehouse in Tinley Park (9501 West 171st Street in Tinley Park). For more information, including a menu, click here. Need a ride to the restaurant? Meet in the lobby of the Conference hotel, the Holiday Inn Tinley Park, at 6:45 PM. Please note that sign-up is required to attend dinner with colleagues, regardless of how one plans to travel to and from the restaurant. Sign up here to reserve your spot at The Alehouse.

The following evening, Wednesday, October 23, join your fellow Conference attendees on the pub stroll, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Make sure to stop by The Primal Cut Steakhouse, at 17344 South Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, which the Illinois Association of College and Research Libraries is hosting. More information, including a menu, is available here. Need transportation to the pub stroll? A trolley service will run between the Tinley Park Convention Center (meet at the South Lobby entrance) and the Tinley Park Metra station’s parking lot on North Street at Oak Park Avenue. For more information, including a map of the locations on the pub stroll, please see page 58 of the Conference book. No registration is required to attend the pub stroll.
