Season 5 Event Registration Information

  • Events take place on Zoom. You will receive individual event registration links for each event.

  • Registration is required for each event. Patrons must use the link provided by their affiliated member library. Member libraries should make registration information available to their patrons and assist with patron registration where needed.

  • All ILP Season 5 events are included in your library membership and are made available complimentary to your library patrons. However, these events are not available to non-member libraries and the registration links should not be shared or advertised outside of your library community.

  • American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is provided for all events by default—no special request needed.

  • Event recordings will be accessible to registered attendees for a limited time, typically up to 30 days, as per contractual agreements with the speaker. This may vary, and specific recording information will be provided with each event's details within five days after the live event.

  • Sharing the recording with your library community will be available typically up to 30 days after the live event. More information and member specific links will be available in email communication to members only.
  • If you are conducting a watch party at the library or a patron is watching with family and friends, they need only one registration per household. This is an excellent solution for community members who may not have online access to the Zoom event. It is also helpful in creating a shared virtual experience and promoting engagement with patrons. After hosting a watch party, please provide your live, in-person attendance by emailing illinoislibrariespresent@ila.org.

  • Registrants will receive a link to the event within two business days of submitting their registration. Email reminders will be sent directly from Zoom prior to the event with the link to join.

  • Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the confirmation or event reminder emails.

  • Attendees are NOT permitted to use AI-based tools (such as notetakers, summarizers, or transcription services) or to record the event in any form. If an ILA-ILP moderator observes the use of these tools during a session, you may be immediately removed from the event. Repeated violations may result in a temporary or permanent ban from attending future events.

  • All member libraries and their representatives are expected to adhere to the terms and conditions for Illinois Libraries Present program that they agreed to when signing up for ILP S5.

  • Patrons should be contacting their affiliated ILP member library with questions about events, registration, recordings and how to use Zoom. ILA staff will handle patron communication and questions only on the day of the event and during the event itself. Patron emails and inquiries will be referred back to their affiliated member library.
