Call for Program Proposals for 2024 Reaching Forward Conferences

The Reaching Forward North and Reaching Forward South Committees are accepting program proposals for their 2024 conferences. These annual conferences, dedicated to the professional development of library support staff, are deeply committed to delivering high-quality and relevant content to benefit the Illinois library community.
Program slots for both conferences is 60 minutes and programming is organized by the following tracks:
- Advocacy and Funding
- Collections and Technical Services
- Community Engagement and Customer Service
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Human Resources
- Leadership and Management
- Marketing and Outreach
- Personal and Professional Development
- Programming
- Reference and Readers Advisory
- Technology
- Wellness
- Youth and Young Adult Services
Reaching Forward North is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Reaching Forward South is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Doubletree Hotel Collinsville/St. Louis in Collinsville, IL.
The deadline for proposal submissions for both conferences is November 21, 2023.
