April 28 Virtual Meeting on ACRL Proposals for ALA 2017

The Association of College and Research Libraries is holding a virtual meeting at 1:00 PM CST on Thursday, April 28, on submitting program proposals for the ALA 2017 Annual Conference, which will take place in Chicago. The meeting is open to any ACRL section, committee, interest group, or individual member. Attendees will learn about the program-planning process for ALA 2017, with a particular focus on the timeline, which lasts from this month to June of 2017. The deadline for program proposals is September 1, 2016. The ACRL Professional Development Committee will review the proposals and then notify submitters in October of whether their program has been selected.
