Bylaws of the ILA Resources & Technical Services Forum


Article 1  Name

The name of this organization shall be the Resources and Technical Services Forum (RTSF) of the Illinois Library Association. 

 

Article II  Purpose

The purpose of RTSF shall be to create and provide professional development opportunities for library staff members working in Technical Services.

 

Article III  Leadership

Manager

Term is 1 year. There is no term limit.

Manager-Elect

The Manager-Elect is elected each year at the annual meeting held during the ILA Annual Conference.

 

Article IV  Communication

The main means of communication is through the ILA Reporter and other online media as approved by the members (such as a listserv or blog)

 

Article V  Committees, other duties

The Forum Manager and membership may create a committee as deemed necessary. Volunteers to help with programming and communication are approved by the Manager.

 

Article VI  Meetings

The RTSF annual meeting is held during the ILA Annual Conference. The RTSF annual meeting also serves as a programming meeting for the next ILA Annual Conference. Other meetings may be scheduled as needed. Meetings do not have to be in person.
