Lincoln Library, The Public Library of Springfield, Illinois, is seeking an individual to plan and direct the operation of Children’s Services; coordinate and present activities while planning and recommending appropriate new services; and assume system-wide responsibility for establishing standards for Children’s Services. 

Requirements

Position requires a Master’s degree in Library Science, three years of professional library service and one year of supervisory experience. Weekend and evening work hours are required.

Current employees (where applicable) shall maintain their bona fide residence within the corporate limits of the city during all periods of service. New employees residing outside of Springfield city boundaries shall have one year to relocate and provide proof of residence in the city limits of Springfield.

Salary

Minimum Starting Rate: $4,260.51 Monthly. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
