Requirements

1. Advanced degree in Library and Information Science or
equivalent from an ALA-accredited library program or from a
program recognized by the American Library Association as an
international equivalent.

2. Strong commitment to customer service

3. Ability to work effectively with all levels of patrons and
colleagues

4. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

5. Ability to work collaboratively in a strongly collegial and
participative environment

6. Ability to manage diverse assignments in a rapidly changing
organization

7. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a
criminal background investigation based on University policy,
employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory
criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until
the criminal background investigation results have been received
and cleared by Human Resources.
