Welcome to the Virtual iREAD brainstorming!
IIn an effort to release future program theme names and their corresponding
Resource Guides featuring program ideas and artwork to you earlier
than ever before, iREAD is adjusting its planning timeline.
To make this possible, for the 2011 program there will be online
brainstorming from April 2008 – September 2008 and a brainstorming
session will be held at the 2008 ILA Conference. By making these
changes, iREAD will be able to have the 2011 Resource Guide available
for purchase at the 2010 ILA Conference.
Ideas that are not up for discussion are: nature/camping/Lewis and Clark, superheroes, nautical/island, outer space, sports/games, and wild animals. Themes should be relevant to students in grades K-8 throughout the state.
