Young Adult Services Forum (YASF)

The Young Adult Services Forum met online on February 10. There are many exciting projects in the works for the YASF. Check out the new wiki here.

In addition to updates on the forum, you can find suggestions for books and programs, copies of the “So Like YA Know” newsletter, and networking opportunities for librarians who work with teens.

The YASF is co-sponsoring the ILA Youth Services and Young Adult Services Spring Workshop this May. The workshop will be on dealing with legal issues in libraries. Look in this month’s edition of the ILA Reporter and online for registration information.

YASF members have been working on programming for ILA conferences, Spring Workshops, statewide research sharing, and are hoping to establish a book award and Teen Librarian award.
