2005 ILA
Annual Conference

Peoria will be the site for ILA's Annual Conference, to be held October 11 - 14, 2005.

Illinois has one of the most extensive systems of libraries – public, academic, school, and special – in the country. A total of 3,802 libraries – public, college and university, media centers, and special libraries (corporate, medical, law, religious, etc.) – are located in the state. The conference held at Navy Pier in 2002 was the largest in ILA's history, with over 2,400 attendees and 165 companies exhibiting. The Illinois Library Association (ILA) Annual Conference is the third-largest state library exposition in the nation. We represent 3,000 librarians from the state's public, academic, school, and special libraries.
