The 2009 Illinois Library Association Annual Conference returns to Peoria, October 6-9, with something for everyone. The ILA Annual Conference is the best place in Illinois to develop professionally, advance your career, connect with colleagues, and learn about new techniques and new products that improve library services for your community. This year’s conference offers more than 70 programs and will feature more than 125 companies exhibiting their new products and services.
This year’s conference is also easy on your budget. We’ve held the line on registration fees, and lower expenses in Peoria allow us to reduce the cost of conference events.
Who Attends The ILA conference is attended by librarians, trustees, library assistants, educators, and others interested in libraries. Illinois librarians spend more than $425 million on library and library-related materials and supplies each year.
