Serving Our Public Revision Task Force
Established in 2006, the draft charge to the Serving Our Public task force is to: review the currency and relevance of Serving Our Public: Standards for Illinois Public Libraries, revised edition; review the products of other standard setting agencies and closely related professional organizations for consistency in standard setting and best practices; and to produce a set of standards governing public library service in Illinois.

Web site Review Task Force
Established in 2006, the draft Web site Review Task Force charge is to:
Redesign the ILA Web site utilizing blogs, RSS feeds, wikis, and other Web tools (such as content management systems) to make the site dynamic and flexible to support the communication needs of the association.
Develop weekly digest(s) of news and content from the ILA Web site that can be pushed to ILA members on a subscription basis.
Participate in the launch of the Illinois State Library sponsored Web Junction Illinois site, while exploring options for distributing news and digital content from the ILA Web site via this platform.
